Good vcore for a stock boosts performance to 10900KF under intense gaming conditions
Hello,
I acquired a 10900KF and an Asus Z590-A Prime paired with a Corsair Vengeance 3600MHz 8GBx2 setup. I also have an Asus 1080Ti from my earlier build. My system runs a Noctua D15S cooler.
I don’t plan to overclock anything. I turn off MCE in the Asus BIOS and intend to keep using it that way.
With each new CPU or GPU I buy, if I’m not overclocking, I tend to adjust them to the lowest possible voltage (to reduce heat, power use, extend component life, and minimize fan noise). I aim for stable performance.
Based on what others share, what voltage is considered reasonable for a stock 10900KF during moderate gaming sessions? I don’t run AVX 100% workloads all day on Prime95, just to keep things light.
My CPU speed is 63 MHz. It seems like an average chip or possibly below average.
If you manage to secure them at a lower price for regular use, it should work well.
