You have plenty of room on your SSD, and having many mods and DLCs ready is great. Running Skyrim on an SSD can be beneficial since it improves load times and performance. Just check your SSD’s write limits to ensure you’re not exceeding its capacity. Since you haven’t played games yet, it’s safe to try it out.

It would be fine, but it won't give you better performance, just marginally faster load times.

It seems like you're praising the quick startup speed of an SSD. The gaming experience could really benefit from that!

meh, I'd say it noticeable, but not that big of a deal. On my caviar blue, everything loads up by the time my mouse has moved into position--i.e. even on an hdd its still quite fast. So, I wouldn't go buy an ssd special for storing games and what not; but since he already has it then yes, he should. Although, I would love to get a bigger ssd so I wouldn't have to have two drives, but thats just because I like things to be consolidated and orderly. because with older SSDs--crappy Trims--it would deteriorate its lifespan.

No, it shouldn't. Garbage collection should handle all problems. The amount of modded Skyrim compared to how much data an SSD can store means the first writes are almost unimportant. I'm referring to initial writes, since afterward there will be very little or none at all writing back to the SSD due to Skyrim. Using an SSD reads very little to no wear.

It really helped me run around 150+ mods with DLCs now. The loading times are way shorter these days. I'm glad it worked for me!
