Seeking a solid multiplayer survival title, similar to DayZ yet packed with treasure drops and challenging gameplay.
Hasn't tried it before, but it seems well-made. I've been thinking about purchasing it for some time now.
Im a big survival game fan soo.. Rust - Only if you have 6+ friends to play with. The days of Solo rust being fun is long over The Forest - Its really really fun at first but loses its fun factor faster than others in the genre Miscreated - Better looking DayZ with base building and vehicles Ark: SE - A ton of content but often buggy. Also the most popular survival game. H1Z1 - It was fun when I played it but the survival mode has been long neglected for the King of the Kill version. Conan Exiles - Coming soon survival game in the conan universe, seems fun but not out yet.
Just purchased the h1z1 King of the Kill, unsure how to react. Spent several hours playing and kept getting defeated, even with a friend by my side. The forest is truly impressive. Since its release, it’s been a solid game, considered a great gem, and the developers seem genuinely invested in it. Rust is still on the horizon. I’ve seen JackFrags’ version from a while ago and it looks decent; maybe I’ll try it if some friends do ARK. I don’t have a system that can run it smoothly at good frame rates with reasonable settings.
It's truly a standout experience. To appreciate the game fully, you need to immerse yourself in its atmosphere more than just focusing on the mechanics. While the gunplay is solid, the looting feels more enjoyable than in other titles, and hunger adds an extra layer of challenge. However, the lighting and weather elements are what give the game its distinctive feel.
Great feedback! Immersion really enhances the experience, making every decision matter. It adds depth and makes the game feel more alive. Weather effects are a nice touch—they change tactics and keep things interesting. I'm excited to try it out and see how it improves the gameplay. Thanks!
Minecraft Jokes aside, I've played lots of Ark, and if you can stand 40 FPS gameplay (fine imo) it's a really great game. Avoid the big PVP servers though, people are jerks there. Also, the game is really hard in the beginning. You also have Osiris: New Dawn, which I haven't played myself, but it will probably be the next survival game I completely dive into. Then you have Space Engineers (as well as the sister game Medieval Engineers), which is more about building, but it's still pretty survivalish. Then you have Terraria, which is also available on the phone, which makes it even better as it more feels like playing good ol gameboy. Then a friend of mine plays a lot of Factorio, and my brother keeps talking about the game The Lone Dark.
