I'm sure I used something from Acronis or possibly EaseUS. It required many hours, but I managed to locate old data and save what I needed to keep in a specific place. Are there any programs that can search a hard drive for deleted files and recover them? I understand there are many online suggestions, but I prefer real user advice—EaseUS seems still quite good. It's not a major problem, but if I could get it back, I'd definitely try.

I've only just noticed this one...recuva.
Stop relying on this hdd.
The more you depend on it, the lower your chances of recovering data.

Yeah, I just thought about it the other night.
Fortunately, not much happened. It was a long shot, and even if it wasn't crucial, losing it wouldn't disturb me too much.
