Hello, your system runs a Ryzen 7 7800X3D with a 3060 Ti and 32 GB DDR5 at 5200 MHz. I've been using this setup for more than a year, but recently I've noticed frequent game crashes, especially during Call of Duty and Marvel Rivals. My FPS stays smooth, usually around 150 on Marvel Rivals and similar numbers in Call of Duty. I've updated drivers and BIOS, but the issue still happens about once an hour. I've even tried reseating the GPU in case that helps. I'm unsure what else to do and would appreciate any advice.

The game stops functioning properly. It may freeze or display an error message. Some systems can become unresponsive. A crash might redirect you to the desktop.

Apologies for the delayed reply. I ended up closing the window, but there were no lock-ups or black screens. Still experiencing crashes; the only thought is I switched to 1440p, yet my FPS hasn’t dropped.

Hi, I understand you recently joined and might have encountered the same issue. I noticed frequent crashes in COD and sometimes other games before. My PC wasn’t built recently, so I assumed it was a COD problem. I tried playing Battlefield 1 and found the crashes occurred. I adjusted the RAM speed in the BIOS, which matched a COD update timing. After that, Battlefield ran fine except for occasional COD loading issues. My system specs are a 7700X, 3070, 32 DDR5, and I recall lowering it to 4800 or 3600. It’s hard to recall exactly. Worth a shot!

I've tested those ideas but nothing worked. The crash during Marvel Rivals showed a GPU issue in the Unreal Engine log. Does this suggest you should replace it?

Ugh, it sounds like you're repeating the same idea. Have you considered removing a stick of RAM, maybe a faulty one?
