Good PC specs but poor performance and frequent Fortnite crashes
Initially, I should note that I’m not very familiar with PCs and their components, so I don’t have much background on this. At first, my PC worked well with high FPS, but now it only reaches 60 FPS and Fortnite often freezes or crashes unexpectedly. I’m reaching out to see if anyone here understands the issue and can assist me.
I would verify temperatures to ensure everything stays within safe limits. The CPU and GPU can be tracked using MSI Afterburner.
Check GPU and CPU temperatures after a minimum of 5 minutes while playing.
Use the OSD overlay to monitor CPU and GPU temperatures during gaming.
