I have a decent router from my ISP, though it hasn't been performing well lately. The Wi-Fi has been unstable, with several interruptions each day. All connected devices stop connecting, and the router's light flickers. The connection speed is always slow. I'm considering a new router priced between £150 and $200. I've seen some "best router of 2021" reviews but tend to be cautious. My main PC uses a wired connection, while my kid's Xbox relies on Wi-Fi. Any recommendations?

Connect all the essential gadgets while keeping Wi-Fi reserved for mobile phones. Turn off your router’s Wi-Fi and use a reliable access point from a reputable brand such as Mikrotik. https://mikrotik.com/products/group/wire...and-office

Support the idea presented above. In most cases, it’s more cost-effective to install an Ethernet cable instead of purchasing a costly router.

Several key gadgets are connected via cables. My primary computer uses a wired setup along with a compact hub in the living area that links the cable TV receiver, television, and living room console. Wiring every device isn't feasible, particularly given the demands of home schooling and remote work. Strong Wi-Fi is essential for tablets and laptops.

Enhance your Wi-Fi setup using Mikrotik and position it freely throughout your home via an Ethernet connection. It also includes a switch for easy management.
