Hey everyone, I noticed Witcher 3 doesn’t handle antialiasing very well, so I’m curious if using the NVIDIA driver could improve it. I’m not sure what the different options mean, but any advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

The native driver is available in the control panel under 3D settings for Witcher 3. You can select it. It’s meant to offer improved performance compared to MSAA at a lower cost. I plan to test it. The issue is that my language translations are very poor, making it hard to find accurate English equivalents. Frustrating.

The visuals inside the game seem clear and smooth. At 1440p it might help tweaking the sharpness options. You could try a preset such as Super Turbo Lighting to mimic good anti-aliasing effects.

I'm working with turbo lighting and a lot more. However, the sparkling effect outside windows at far distances looks quite unpleasant to me. Also, it works well at 1440p on a 25-inch screen.

The Nvidia driver doesn't support Witcher 3. I rely on the in-game AA to reduce blur, and I also adjust the sharpening settings within the game.

I've rarely seen great performance from NVCP settings. Usually in-game tweaks work better. You might want to try DSR instead. What game resolution are you using? If it's 1080p, consider switching to 1440p with DSR and lowering the anti-aliasing. This should give you similar frame rates while improving image clarity.
