You should consider a solid stress test suite. Intel burn test isn’t the best fit here, and AIDA64 is more for diagnostics than stressing hardware. Since your friend has hwmonitor installed, focus on robust tools like Prime95 or AIDA64 Stress for comprehensive testing.

He also saved the Intel burn test file and received something. Regarding the Intel burn, it worked fine initially, but when I attempt to power it up it displays an error stating it cannot start and requiring .NET 3.5 even though I already have version 4.5.

Net libraries function together without issues. You must install the specific version you need. Also, CPUs without burn-in requirements are fine; only testing matters when checking if an aftermarket cooler is properly installed and performing as described. With a stock cooler, it either works or doesn’t.
