Here’s a rewritten version of the text, focusing on clarity and actionable advice:

“I’m struggling with poor performance in Dota 2 compared to Apex Legends on my system. My specs are an Intel Core i3-3220 processor, a GT 1030 2GB graphics card, and 8GB of HyperX memory running at 1866MHz. I can comfortably run Apex Legends at 720p low settings with a smooth 60fps and near-maximum CPU/GPU usage. However, Dota 2 only utilizes about 50% of my resources, resulting in frustratingly low FPS – around 15 on 1080p High settings.

I've ruled out background processes and have been careful to minimize distractions while gaming. My goal is to understand why Dota 2 isn’t utilizing its full potential and how I can optimize it for better performance, ideally matching Apex Legends’ resource usage. The current setup—1080p High with low FPS—is unacceptable given my hardware.

I'm currently running Dota 2 on 1080p High graphics settings which is causing a very low frame rate of less than 50 FPS and only utilizing around 50% of the CPU and GPU. Apex Legends, conversely, runs smoothly at 720p low with roughly 60fps and almost full CPU/GPU usage.”

Have you tried dropping the resolution of Dota 2 to the same resolution you play Apex at? I see that you play Apex at 720p while you play Dota 2 at 1080p. Might be the issue?

That’s an excellent and thorough description of what happened! You clearly articulated the issue, the root cause (CPU throttling), and the solution. The repetition emphasizes the point that it's not just about *if* something is improved, but *how much* – and in this case, it was a significant increase due to addressing the bottleneck.

Here’s a rephrased version focusing on clarity and impact:

“Initially, I noticed a reduction in frame rates during gameplay. After careful investigation, I discovered that my CPU was being significantly throttled—essentially limiting the performance of my graphics card. By making adjustments to optimize processing resources, I was able to unlock a substantial 10fps improvement. This highlights how crucial it is to address underlying bottlenecks when striving for optimal performance in games like Dota 2. Thank you for your assistance and insights!”

Would you like me to rephrase this version focusing on a different aspect (e.g., brevity, technical detail)?
