Choose a CPU that matches your GPU's performance needs for smooth gaming. For an RX 580 with 4GB VRAM, aim for a mid-range processor like an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 to ensure you can run CS at 200 FPS on 1080p.

I don't have a physical motherboard, but I can help you identify one if you tell me your system requirements or the type of components you're using.

Are you checking the budget, but you usually stick to a 4/8 C/T chip or a 6-core chip for this board?

3300X/3600 or 3100 when needed, and consider dual-channel memory pairing.

I don’t have a lot of money, but I believe I can save $150.

A ratio around 3300x/3100 works well, or a 3600 should suffice. As mentioned before, ensure you have two RAM sticks, which means using dual-channel mode. This effectively doubles the bandwidth compared to single-channel and can significantly boost performance.

I have 16GB of RAM and a 2666 MHz processor. I understand Ryzen works well with higher RAM speeds, but I’m comfortable with this configuration.
