I installed a new build and updated drivers. In the options, I set everything to automatic with high/ultra settings. After benchmarking, I got only 10-20 fps max. I switched to low settings and ran another test. The CPU usage stayed around 20% while the GPU was at full capacity. My GPU temps were consistently under 50°C. I checked various fixes with NVIDIA controls and power settings, but nothing resolved the issue. My hardware includes a GTX 1060, 6GB RAM, Ryzen 3 1300X, 8GB DDR4, an MSI B350 with a 1TB HDD, and a 600W PSU.

I don't have a GPU load when not gaming.

Check the display to find out what’s consuming power. Regarding performance metrics, please share your typical clock speeds during gameplay versus when you’re idle.

Operating at 139mhz but stuck, I thought I was on the right track—it's actually around 0-3%.

Yes, reducing graphics can often improve frame rates. Have you tested games directly rather than just checking benchmarks?

I see, adjusting graphics helps improve FPS, but the game still runs slowly.

CPU might be struggling with more detailed settings. Have you tried running other games?
