My school recently acquired a CNC mill, and I was excited about creating a CPU block for my computer. The main challenge is locating an affordable aluminum radiator. I've searched and found a few options, but most seem to be either too cheap or too expensive. Could anyone recommend a reliable, all-aluminum radiator under $100?

A lot of AIO radiators are made from aluminum, but locating one by itself can be tough. You could check automotive heater cores—they come in different sizes and offer aluminum or brass choices. Keep in mind that alumikum doesn't conduct heat as efficiently as copper. This matters especially at the CPU, where contact area is limited. When building your own, why not use copper on that side of the block? Look into aluminum computer radiators.

many AIO radiators are made from aluminum, though locating one alone can be tough. You could check automotive heater cores—they come in different sizes and offer aluminum or brass options. Keep in mind that alumikum doesn’t conduct heat as efficiently as copper. This matters especially at the CPU, where contact area is limited. If you’re building your own, why not use copper on that side of the block? Consider a copper computer radiator.
