Gomplayer 4k playback
Gomplayer 4k playback
Are there any others experiencing playback problems with GOMplayer when using 4K playback? For example, I played identical 4K MKV files in VLC and GOMplayer, but only the video synced issues appeared in GOMplayer—audio worked fine but the video was delayed. This is unusual since the software is supposed to handle 4K without problems. I bought GOMplayer for $15, expecting smooth 4K performance.
As a paying customer, reach out to Gom Player support and request assistance. However, I'm confused about the need to pay for a faulty program when VLC is much better and free.
Gomplayer has burst image capture for me, which works well with videos and offers better audio than VLC player. I've also reached out to them about it.
Does it generate screenshots from the video while playing them? Yes, VLC player also does this. It is referred to as "Scene video filter". Understanding that VLC player delivers audio in its raw or original form, without any equalization adjustments, which other players might apply, resulting in a more natural sound quality.
VLC actually handles the single-snapshot functionality, though it doesn't include the burst capability I'm looking for. I prefer VLC Player for that specific feature.
Use the hotkey in the VLC player to capture snapshots. This allows you to take snapshots at specific points in the video as needed. Scene video filter enables snapping either per frame or after each frame, with options to set the frequency.
