You can purchase additional weapons without spending real money by using in-game currency or rewards.
Real money only grants access to in-game weapon skins. Every firearm in the game is purchasable through the buy menu, displaying the skins you currently have in your inventory. Keep in mind that certain weapons are exclusive to specific teams; however, they can be used by any team if collected from the ground. You may also equip two skins at once for weapons available on both sides—simply assign one skin per team (for example, AWP and asiimov for CT, or redline for T).
You can get boxes or skins by randomly completing challenges, leveling up, and occasionally reaching MVP status. However, acquiring skins often feels like a waste of money just for the novelty. Still, my AWP Hyper Beast is fine because it’s a nice skin I use more, which helps me improve.
