It's amusing how Windows 10 will gain recognition for reviving the start menu and adding transparency. NFW... Have you ever checked the suggestions on the Windows 10 technical preview feedback site? The most popular ones are the updates we actually need, not just cosmetic changes like glass effects. I really doubt they'll pay attention. Usability should take priority over visual tricks; otherwise we risk falling back to an outdated version of Win 8. Here are some key features that stand out:
- Unified interfaces replacing old menus and control panels into a sleek modern design.
- Tabbed explorer functionality.
- Modern Explorer improvements.

Great point! The lack of textures really made Windows 8 disappointing for me.

The main concern is whether these features will appear only in the start menu or also across other windows. It’s great to hear they took your feedback seriously and made the necessary adjustments. We’re hoping they fully grasped the importance and will use them correctly.

It appears the feature is limited to the start menu. They might be delaying Aero due to performance issues on lower-end models. This aligns with the reference image.

It's often repetitive, but this design does have advantages. The minimalist gray layout uses less memory and resources, making it ideal for older low-end hardware from a few years back.

It seems Microsoft hasn’t met expectations once more. When concerns focus on budget tablets, offering users the ability to enable features should be a priority. Eliminating options for desktop users solely because they can’t use low-end models is shortsighted.

Me! And many others, including 49,444 people who download this site (http://kizo2703.deviantart.com/art/Windo...-325642288), still don't get it. I understand it doesn't match the modern aero styles, but sometimes a classic look is just what we need. There are also some nice wallpapers that would fit well in a classic theme. It's called Classic for a reason. Offering theme options can always be a good idea, can't you?
