You've tried PS CS6 before and know about GIMP. Here are the pros and cons of each: PS CS6 is free but may have limitations, while GIMP is powerful but comes with a higher cost.

CS2 is available at no cost and remains significantly superior to GIMP.

One is free, one is expensive. If you don't know the differences other than that, then you don't need photoshop.

I haven’t tried a genuine Photoshop version and it’s tricky to set up, so I was curious if GIMP could teach me photo editing just as well.

GIMP is a great choice since it’s free and offers most of the key features you’d want to master.

It's a choice between $700 and nothing. Photoshop is my go-to 99% of the time.

I think it functions as both a magnet and a downloadable file. There needs to be an option to download it above the torrent link.

Obtain an older version of Photoshop. The Gimp interface is difficult for me to understand.
