I'm trying to flash a BIOS using Q-Flash Plus, but it's not functioning properly. I followed the instructions in the Gigabyte manual, extracted the BIOS file and renamed it to gigabyte.bin on a USB 2.0 drive. I pressed the Q-Flash button. The yellow light blinked for about two minutes, then stayed on for a couple of seconds. After that, the PC shut down and when I powered it back on, it wouldn't boot. I've tried everything else—all components installed, then without the CPU and RAM. Nothing worked. Should I have to remove the GPU as well? What am I doing incorrectly? The motherboard shows both CPU and RAM lights during Q-Flash, but only the CPU light is on. Please help me.

Ensure your USB is formatted as FAT32 and contains only the file named gigabyte.bin. Disconnect your PC, plug the USB in, confirm the power supply is active, and press the QFLASH button. Once installed, your PC will reboot several times before booting into the BIOS.

This function typically needs a particular USB port. It's similar to the USB 3.2 setup shown in the image.

The USB drive is installed in a 32-bit format, and I followed your instructions to create it using FAT32. It only contains the gigabyte.bin file, and it appears to be placed in the right port. When I press the Q Flash button, it fails to locate the drive and powers off. The flashing takes about 1 minute and 30 seconds before it stops working.

It's the Z690 model. I've re-downloaded the file and am unsure if I should try again. Previously, I downloaded the F22 BIOS since it was listed as compatible. Now I'm testing with the F23.

It failed and stopped even quicker, within 50 seconds.
