Hey there! It sounds like you're facing some tricky issues with your RAM on the Gigabyte Z690 board. You mentioned getting a black screen after reaching a stable speed, and even after reloading a working profile, it didn’t work again. The voltage settings seem fine, but the 3600MHz target isn’t hitting. Many users report similar problems with this motherboard—could you share more about your RAM model or any error messages? Also, double-check that the CPU socket matches your RAM type and that the VCCSA is set correctly (usually around 1.21V). If you're still unsure, reaching out to a community forum or support channel might help. Good luck, and don’t forget—your honesty about the situation is really appreciated!

Join the discussions here! Consider testing with Prime95, Windows memory check, or Memtest86—there are numerous memory assessments available, which might indicate a RAM problem.

I've completed the tests on OCCT AVX2 and SSE configurations. Ran multiple memtest instances with 200% coverage on OCd @3600MHz CL14-15-15-35 at 1.45V, including full TestMem5 cycles using anta777 settings. All results were successful—only minor issues occurred when attempting to reduce DRAM voltage below 1.45V at that frequency.

I experimented with one stick at a time in slot 1 to check its functionality. It might point to a slot-related problem. Have you updated your BIOS? Cleared the CMOS? It appears you've made many changes, so a hardware issue is likely.

I just wanted to let you know I’m sorry if I previously suggested Gigabyte Z690 boards—turns out they can be problematic. A friend had the same model and faced similar issues, so he returned it and is seeking a replacement. Not sure what to do next. Best of luck!

Never used one stick before, plan to test it now. BIOS is the newest release (upgraded yesterday to F5a upon release). CMOS was reset several times.

Hi! No reason to apologize, someone else recommend to me Gigabyte as an option. No one could have known they are going to be any issues.

Checking if VCCSA reaches 1.3V and VCCIO at 1.25V. As dual-rank sticks, they might cause more strain on the memory controller.

Increase the RAM voltage to 1.49V as well. However, I’m more concerned about a motherboard issue—if it struggles to run at 3600 smoothly, then the GPU likely needs a major upgrade. Holy crap.

Tested VCCSA 1.3V and DRAM V 1.49, but no results. Added DRAM Training 1.49 still didn’t work. For VCCIO I kept searching in BIOS but couldn’t locate it. Could this setting be missing from the Aorus Elite BIOS?
