Hello, your Gigabyte Z370 AROUS Gaming 7 works with both DDR4 and DDR4-SDRAM. The manual doesn’t show major differences between them, so you should be fine either way.

SDRAM is considered standard 'normal RAM,' which means most people would simply refer to it as 'RAM' today. Back in the late 90s, distinguishing it was crucial since asynchronous and static RAM (the opposite of 'S' and 'D' in SDRAM) were still available. In short, any regular DDR4 RAM you see will function (excluding server or ECC types).
