Hi I bought this motherboard just to try out non k overclocking. I loaded modded BIOS same as in the video. But when I change BCLK I get a boot failure. Even 2mhz increase is enough to give me a boot failure. I tried different settings different BIOS. But Its doing this with no reason. I can overclock my rams tho. Can someone experienced about this help me. BTW When I got the board for first time I had a different newer BIOS. Then I had to create a bootable USB drive to load the modified one. Maybe the microcode didnt change and bans me from changing the BCLK BIOS. I have no idea. There is a reddit post telling the same problem but the owner of the post did fix it by changing BIOS which didnt work for me.

Disable the Intel speedstep C state option. Adjust settings for high Sync all cores, set core/cache voltage to max (255.50), cache voltage to 1.350, and i5 6500 multiplier at 32. Start with a frequency around 125 MHz for a stable 4 GHz all-core run. Enable XMP to optimize RAM settings. Be aware that lowering the clock will reduce RAM frequency to around 2400 MHz, but you can aim for 2666–2933 MHz. Save an OC profile in your BIOS to avoid repeated changes. Previously, my i56500 ran smoothly at 4.2 GHz with ~2666 MHz RAM, which was ideal since my RAM only supported up to 2400 MHz.

I attempted everything, yet I encountered boot failures whenever the clock speed exceeded 101 MHz.

The system indicates whether overclocking was attempted and whether BIOS settings remain intact or are cleared.

I sourced my bios from official channels and had the previous version prior to the update.

It had an unusual new BIOS before, but I made a bootable USB to install the modified version. I tested five different BIOS settings and now use one shared by someone on the Overclock Discord server. Once I hit 4GHz, it worked briefly, but after pushing it higher it failed to boot again. I can’t exceed 101 MHz anymore. I changed RAM slots, SATA ports, and reset the BIOS from a jumper, but none of those helped.

I received the highest possible value after adjusting a few random options, but it didn’t work again. I checked every possible setting combination, and the usual error kept appearing.
