I'm dealing with an AMD system where the built-in status LED is flashing bright white, which is really annoying. I searched online but didn't find any solutions in the BIOS or documentation. There might be a setting to disable it after some time, but I haven't checked yet. If you need help, I'll grab a coffee and look this up for you. Thanks!

Certain boards show DOCP/XMP support using an LED. Cover it with tape.

It would make a good and practical choice to disable the Jerusalem star after just 5 to 10 minutes of startup if needed.

OMG, wow! I just discovered the reason behind this. There are four LEDs that light up when the system starts, showing something’s off. They stay on until the issue is fixed or resolved. I found out this way after my RAM speeds crashed and reset a long time ago. When trying to speed them back up, I realized I couldn’t enter BIOS, so I upgraded the BIOS but still couldn’t access it. I cleared the CMOS and now can’t even boot. I noticed a green LED lighting up over a very bright white one. I started investigating and learned that each LED acts as a fault indicator, staying lit until the problem is fixed. A friend with a GPU came over to test it, and I finally pressed F2 or DEL to enter BIOS. After that, the system booted again. The white LED is now off, and the bright white one is back on. It’s still unclear what the exact message says, but it seems the GPU is reporting an error. Any tips on figuring out what’s wrong?
