No one has shared this experience. I searched Google but found nothing relevant. My Gigabyte RX5700 OC non-XT model shows the same issues—black screens and restarts—even without drivers. It seems to be a driver-related problem, possibly linked to mining. The RX5700 was likely used for mining, but I haven’t seen similar reports on mined cards.

Additional notes: My Asus Cerberus 1070Ti works perfectly. My PC specs are: Ryzen 7 Pro 3700, stock MSI A320M-A Pro M2 2x8, Kingston DDR4 3200MHz, Gigabyte Aorus AP750GM 80+ Gold, NVME SSD.

Your Gigabyte RX5700 OC GPU might have hardware problems. Issues like black screens and restarts can stem from damaged components, wrong settings, or incompatibility. To diagnose, inspect the card for physical damage or debris, verify it's correctly placed in the PCI-e slot and firmly attached to the motherboard, confirm power connections are solid, and test it on another system. Use a different cable or display to exclude display problems. Monitor the card's temperature; overheating can cause failures. Ensure proper ventilation and that the cooling fan operates correctly. If none of these resolve the issue, the card may be faulty and require replacement.
