Considering a switch from my current MSI Pro X670-P Wi-Fi board to a Gigabyte unit feels like a good move since it’s been causing issues. The main concern is the G Connection feature on Gigabyte’s front panel, which isn’t compatible with the unblock connector in my Hyte Y70 Touch case. Will that connector still function on the MoBo, or will I need a different modular setup?

The Gigabyte boards maintain the same pins and connectors, at least for most of them. You don’t need to rely on the included plug—it’s just there to simplify things.
