Gigabyte h97 m d3h for overclocking
Hi, your Asus H81 MD works well with overclocking. However, you're considering a Gigabyte H97M motherboard and wondering if it can be overclocked without any BIOS problems. Some people say you can't overclock H-series boards except through ASUS, but others claim they've managed to do it via a BIOS update.
The GA-Z97 is just 2k more... However, I would caution against using Gigabyte boards. My personal experience with 2 Gigabyte boards shows that most people who use them here face issues. Since you're from India, don't expect any warranty support—they only offer it when the motherboard fails completely.
I just need to purchase an Asus board, mainly requiring two PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. The Asus H81M V3 has them but only supports 16GB RAM, so I chose the GA H97 D3H instead. Other z series boards are too costly.

Sure, I understand. I'll go with buying an Asus mono and hope it has 16GB of RAM.
And H97 boards don't support SLI... Only Z-series boards work...
