Has anyone noticed stability problems with the Gigabyte H370 Aorus Gaming 3 when using a 9700K? I recently finished building and have experienced crashes during stress tests. All components except CPU and motherboard were replaced. Under heavy load, such as with Prime95 or OCCT, the board would force the CPU to reach up to 1.44V. This occurred even with the latest BIOS and various quality power supplies tested. If anyone has faced similar issues or has a solution to improve stability, please share! Thanks ahead.
VID stands at 1.2, seems correct. The H370 Aorus board offers some control options, though I haven’t located a setting for MCE or similar that might be responsible for the voltage issues. It appears to be increasing higher than expected and operating on more cores than intended. I’m unsure about the best approach to adjust it toward standard voltages, as H370 modifications are quite restricted.
Check the clear CMOS, observe if any adjustment appears unexpectedly.
I've already reset the CMOS and set it to default optimized settings, but the issue persists.
This CPU uses an AIO liquid cooler which limits airflow to the VRMs. Despite having solid heatsinks, the system fails immediately when testing AVX features.
