Overclocking this board isn't allowed (options aren't available in the BIOS), and the protection provided doesn't cover anything beyond the original specifications.

I wonder if it's a build PC with a good price, and even at 2.8 I believe the i5 is superior to the i3 at 3.7.

It will compete with the i3. The single-core performance, mainly due to speed, will excel in certain tasks, while the i5 offers a 'true' quad-core design. The i5 can also increase its speed to 3.4GHz when required, making it a very powerful processor.
