Gigabyte GTX 750 TI 2Gb overclocking guide
Hi!
I own a Gigabyte Gtx 750 Ti with 2gb RAM and am planning to overclock it. I've already increased the core clock and memory clock. I'm unsure how much further I can push it without changing the core voltage. What's the safe upper limit? I don't want to risk damaging the core voltage. The current settings are Core Clock:+150 MHz, Core Memory:+450 MHz, with temperatures between 62-63°C using Heaven Benchmark 4.0. Psu link: http://www.fsplifestyle.com/PROP161000099/
the gpu will indicate your limits, making small adjustments, around 50mhz each time until you notice artifacts, a sudden system shutdown, or a hard failure of any benchmark used. both in ram and gpu do that. are you planning to use msi afterburner or another tool? sometimes the core cannot be modified without causing instability, so begin with wti hram and gpu, then experiment with other settings.

keep in mind that this card doesn't come with extra power beyond what the PCI Express slot provides; its overclocking potential is restricted. You might manage to boost performance by about 5 frames, maybe even up to 3, though it's possible you could get a better result unexpectedly.

average speed is around 5 fps? those are excellent numbers, maybe you can try moving away from the core and RAM now but I believe you're near the limit. Is the GPU making a lot of noise now? As a mini GPU shouldn't be hot or loud, but since you're pushing it hard, it might be. It's not as noisy as I expected. The fans are running at about 49% while the benchmark is running, and the temperature is between 62-65 °C.
