I moved the motherboard into a fresh Silverstone GD10 enclosure, yet it displays a red CPU error indicator when it starts. When I connect the PCI-E cable to the 12V_ATX power port, the system fails to boot completely and I notice a faint clicking noise intermittently. I believe I followed the previous setup by placing all six PCI-E pins in that configuration, leaving two loose. The mismatched pin on the back suggests it doesn’t fit correctly. Do you think the cable should match what’s shown on the PSU, or is there another detail I should consider?
Look for a PCIe port that indicates a CPU or fits into a 4+4 layout.
