Hello, I just got my GA-EP43T-S3L (Rev. 1.4) Motherboard along with a new Intel Core™2 Quad Processor Q9550. I'm considering overclocking now... I haven't tried any changes in M.I.T. BIOS yet because I'm worried about damaging the CPU. Since this chipset doesn't support overclocking like the P45 chipset, I want to find out how to best adjust the CPU FSBs and Vcores in BIOS to maximize performance and reach at least 3.00GHz. Also, I'm curious about the motherboard's FSB wall limit. I don’t have much money left and can't afford a new board. Thanks in advance.

You can locate the details on the gigabyte website. Your MB uses DDR3, the other one uses DDR2 memory, and the rest are similar. I included this link: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/compari...=3290,3482

But I also came across the OC details from another forum (that OP used a different EP43 MB), look at it and give it a try:
