Gigabyte control center
Gigabyte control center
Here’s a humorous take on what happened.
I tried using the auto detect tool to check for updates, but it just told me there were none. So I updated anyway.
After restarting, the Gigabyte Control Center wouldn’t open—it hung, and when I clicked, it said “program not responding.”
The RGB lights on the Waterforce X 280 cooler didn’t work either, and the Gigabyte light on the graphics card stayed off.
CPU temperatures weren’t showing on the cooler’s LCD, only the liquid temperature.
I finally did a full Windows reinstall, but the issue still lingered. I’m really confused.
restart the BIOS settings
refresh the motherboard's BIOS manually
install the newest drivers by hand, avoiding automatic detection
Thank you for your response. The latest BIOS for my motherboard is suitable for a fresh flash, and I'm proceeding with the newest Windows version.
Hi, I've had the same issue updated to the newest release, but it still blocks when opened. After removing the VGA tool and restarting GCC, it functions properly.
