New setup. All parts freshly installed: Motherboard Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX mini ATX CPU, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, SSD Samsung 980 PRO PCIe Gen 4 NVMe M.2 (connected to top CPU), Crucial Pro RAM 2x16GB DDR4, power supply be quiet!, SFX Power 3.45W, no GPU, other drives... When starting up: All fans activate: PSU, CPU, including case (Fractal Design Ridge), USB: keyboard, mouse, Debian ISO, ... (previous issues resolved). Monitor shows "weak or no signal"... Nothing appears! Don’t proceed to “Delete”... I’ve assembled several new builds. First mini ATX, first AMD. No backup parts to swap. Never experienced issues (maybe luck?). Any advice on next steps to troubleshoot or pinpoint the issue?
It seems like a really unusual approach, but attempting to disconnect all USB devices might help. When I assembled my friend's Ryzen 7000 system, we used a Gigabyte board and followed the setup for Windows. It took about 30 to 45 minutes before it would start up properly. I considered removing everything and found that the board itself was the main issue, especially when a certain flash drive was connected.
Most B550 and B570 motherboards need a BIOS update for the Ryzen 5000 CPUs. Without the update, the system won't function properly.
Installed USB flash drive (FAT32) with the newest BIOS into the "BIOS USB" port on the motherboard. Pressed and kept the "Q-Flash Plus" button active. Monitored the screen for a response, which showed "Weak or no signal." The Q-Flash Plus indicator did not turn on or flash. Motherboard appears to be damaged?
Did you adhere to the Q-Flash Plus manual? The bios file needs a name like GIGABYTE.BIN.
