Setting up my initial Ryzen build with an R5 2600, 16GB RIPJOWS 3200, and a 1TB Kingston NVMe SSD. The lights pulse from the CPU through RAM to the VGA output, then freeze at VGA. I've experimented with three different GPUs without any improvement. Since I don't have another AM4 CPU available, I'm unsure what BIOS this board uses. Would it be necessary to borrow or steal a 2200G to test?

Are you missing the boot or video output?

The CPU may not be securely seated, it’s a good idea to verify the cooler’s connection.

Replaced the CPU and installed the boxed air cooler. Reset the CMOS multiple times. Tested with RAM in both other sockets and with just one stick. Ran the system from a removed NVME SSD. The VGA LED stopped only when I booted without RAM, then lit up again on RAM.

You might need to bring the CPU in for repair, unfortunately.

It might be the RAM or the motherboard.

I need to check if I can ask a colleague for a CPU at work... Are you sure the motherboard looks fine?

The motherboard might also be the issue. The best way to determine this is by checking for a new CPU or a new motherboard.

I have an idea about its age. The motherboard could be older, the PSU might be outdated, and the device model may not be up to date. It seems the power supply could be delivering insufficient power.
