I'm assembling a setup for a friend and checking how the board performs with a Ryzen 5 3600. I'm curious about its power delivery and overclocking capabilities. Anyone's experience with this build is helpful—what have they achieved so far? What were their outcomes?

It's not too bad; you should be able to push most chips on it. Voltage regulation numbers are... honestly, I don't have a clear idea right now, and the spreadsheet is pretty complicated at the moment, so I can't confirm. From other reviews I've seen, it seems capable of handling basically everything up to 3900x/5800x at the CPU's maximum. In short, it should work fine.

I own the motherboard, and my friend installed it successfully. The VRM temperatures remain consistently low, and power supply is reliable.

The board works fine for a 3600, whether or not it includes an OC. What’s odd is the B450 Aorus Elite comes with 4 4C10N and 8 4C06N discrete MOSFETs plus a small heatsink, yet it clearly struggles with a fully loaded 12-core setup.

Imagine believing everything could manage a 3600... VRM cooling fins seem perfectly adequate for their price. 4c10N and 8 4C0N components should suffice for chips beyond that point.

I mentioned that clearly, but it doesn't manage a fully loaded 12-core processor. Mostly made from plastic, it appears big, though the aluminum component makes up only a tiny part.

I'm sorry but... what part exactly? I own this motherboard and I can guarantee the heatsink is aluminum throughout. Don't know what you've been reading in your spare time...
