Gigabyte Aorus X570 Pro WiFi fails to power on when connected to specific PCIe devices.
Noticing an issue: after updating my setup with a X570, the system won’t boot when using either the Xonar Essence or the Rosewill USB 2.0 hub, but works with a USB 3.0 PCIe hub. It seems to freeze at the VGA stage. I have a new 7-port Orico USB 3.0 hub arriving this morning and plan to test it. My assumption is it should function properly, though we’ll find out. I also have a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition in the 16x slot—it’s a PCIe 3.0 card. I’m running on the 1.0.0.4 Released BIOS with AMD X570 driver 1.9.27.1033. It appears the system struggles to mix newer and older PCIe cards. I can proceed without the sound card and the USB 2.0 hub, but I’d like to investigate what’s happening and figure out a solution. Thanks, Harry Voyager
