Hi,
I'm looking at my setup: an 8700k HyperX 3600MHZ 2 * 8GB GPU, Gigabyte Aorus Extreme edition 1080. We aim for the fastest possible performance but don’t want to spend too much time tweaking. I’ve installed the Gigabyte Aorus software in OC mode and ran a stress test. Here’s what I saw: https://imgur.com/LYQRVwJ. Is this acceptable, or can we expect better results? If yes, what manual OC numbers should I begin with? Thanks.
For the GTX 1080, MSI afterburner seems to be the top choice for overclocking the GPU...It's straightforward, and you've managed well with the core reaching up to 2050. It usually caps around 2100 if you're lucky. For the memory with 5200, it's not too bad at all, and you might be able to push it to 5250 or even higher.
