It's been several years since I assembled this machine, and I wanted to experiment with adding another M.2 slot at the bottom as well as the top one. My C drive remains in the top position. I have a 3080 SSD installed in the 16x slot, but nothing in the 4x slot. After inserting an M.2 NVMe drive into the bottom slot and turning the computer on, I observe certain issues: the VGA light activates but stays off, no display appears, and the keyboard light fails to turn on. The BIOS won't boot, and fans start running. When I remove the slot—whether with or without the card—the machine starts up immediately. I've read some discussions online, but they seem unresolved and mostly repeat similar comments. According to the manual, the M.2 slot should disable the 4x slot, which I don't use anyway. However, it appears to prevent the whole system from booting, even though the SSD works fine with a USB adapter. Could there be something I'm overlooking?
