Gigabyte Aorus Elite paired with Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G processor
Hello! The Aorus Elite with Ryzen 5 Pro 4650G uses integrated Vega graphics, so it won’t have a dedicated GPU. It’s possible to run games smoothly on your system if you choose lightweight titles, but performance will depend on the game and your overall setup. CrossFire tech in the motherboard helps with display scaling, which can be useful for certain monitors. You might find similar setups work well without an external graphics card.
You're using a 3400g build and don't need additional costs for the CPU because you won't see extra FPS. On 3400g it's Vega 11 while 4650g is Vega 8, offering more cores—about half of 4650 versus a quarter of 3400. The key is to have at least 2x8GB RAM with 3200MHz speed.
The mainboard lacks graphics processing; only the CPU provides them. This means you won’t have two separate video cards. If the processor is an APU with built-in graphics, the motherboard’s video connectors will activate and function properly, otherwise they won’t. Most standard AM4 boards don’t include a dedicated video card—only the CPU’s integrated graphics. The only exceptions might be rare, obscure models from certain manufacturers that somehow integrate high-end cards like RX 550 or GT 1030/GT 1050 directly into the board, though such cases are uncommon and often result in poor performance or unstable drivers.
There are certainly reasonable exceptions—server boards usually come with a standard graphics chipset, such as the AST2500 on this model: https://www.asrockrack.com/general/produ...ifications. You won’t be gaming on that setup, but it’s built for remote management and other tasks where you don’t need a dedicated GPU slot.
They mentioned the motherboard includes built-in graphics, but I’m checking it separately from the CPU or APU already installed.
