Gigabyte Aorus B450 Elite M.2 installation guide Boot process details
I've used this board and configuration for years, but this problem has occurred twice before. I managed to adjust things in BIOS by accident. The issue is my M.2 boot drive appears to skip Windows each time I install a new drive. Even after reinstalling everything as it was, the system won't start. It still detects all devices but shows a message saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot device." I've tried formatting and starting over, but I still need to tweak BIOS settings before it works. It seems related to CSM support. I'm unsure what it requires since it functions normally until the new drive is added. I don't want to repeat this troubleshooting. Any suggestions? Thanks.
