I possess a PC with these details: Gigabyte z690 UD Intel 13600K, Crucial DIMM 32 GB DDR5-6000. Other components likely won’t affect the issue. Two days back I considered updating the BIOS and wondered what could go wrong. I ran the BIOS.exe installer for the latest f30 version. The process completed successfully, and the system restarted without problems. However, after a few minutes it crashed again with a BSOD. Eventually, I used Memtest on a USB drive and found serious errors. After swapping the RAM sticks and rerunning Memtest, no issues appeared. My thought: the BIOS update may have damaged the RAM slots or affected the CPU memory controller. Have others experienced similar problems?

Refresh the bios or revert to the previous version of the BIOS you used earlier.

I've worked with various Gigabyte boards and updated their BIOS regularly. However, I'm not familiar with the exact process for updating BIOS manually. You might need to consult your specific board's documentation or contact the manufacturer for guidance.

At first I used model f27. After retrying, the outcome stayed the same; I also tried f30d without improvement.

You need to contact Gigabyte tech support about this issue. Either resolve the problem and possibly return the product for exchange, or purchase a replacement board and move forward.

I attempted multiple BIOS updates but encountered the same issue post-initial release
