I acquired this new motherboard for my first build and was having trouble fitting it into the case. I handled it gently, avoiding any force, and after consulting my friends and checking the backside, I noticed something unusual with the pins under the VRM. This might affect performance. I decided to file a return, but I don’t want to wait for a replacement.

The solder joints must stay away from the case surface. I’m concerned you might be missing the motherboard standoffs in your build. They’re typically included by default, but some cheaper cases require separate installation. Their size is generally 1/4 to 1/2 inch, which is roughly 1-2 cm.

I placed it on the stand using the Q300L; I wasn’t sure about the screws and removed it after pluss the screws didn’t secure it properly, so I took it out.
