I'm experiencing some issues with my 980 Ti and suspect there might be a problem, but I'm not sure what exactly is happening. When attempting to overclock the card, I can't reach the power limit beyond 101%. I recently learned that this card has an additional PCI-e power slot, which I haven't used yet. After discovering this, I tried connecting it, but it seems my PSU only has two of the six plus two connectors. My PSU is an EVGA 700 B1, 80+ BRONZE 700W. I'm concerned this might be the main bottleneck and want to know if replacing the PSU would help. Please let me know if you need more details.

Do you know if the LN2 button next to the 6-pin power connector is red or blue? Additionally, I'm having trouble locating a cord with a 6-pin connector. After trying the two 6+2 pin cords, I haven't found anything comparable.

In LN2 mode, you just have to press the button to change the color. Got it, now I'll try something new.

The card operating in standard mode (blue) doesn't require the additional 6-pin. The absence of the 6-pin in LN2 mode is the reason for its limitations.

The card in regular mode (blue) doesn't require the extra 6-pin. The absence of the 6-pin in LN2 mode explains the limitation. After pressing the button and restarting, I lost connection to my displayport monitor and the resolution dropped. I panicked, tried again, restarted, and after a few minutes it reconnected. If I change it back to blue, will I just have to wait this time? Did I panic or is something wrong here?

When you restart and log in, the driver needs to adapt because the button changes how the BIOS handles cards, making the driver/OS perceive a different card.
