Already uninstalled and reinstalled all my fan software. Now everything runs smoothly with a clean curve. At 79+ RPM it smoothly transitions from about 1500 to 4000, especially the right setting then back down. Maybe I should sell my card and switch to something smaller instead.
I bought this machine roughly six months ago. It runs cool, and the graphics card was just waiting in storage before purchase.
Temperature readings differ significantly from hotspot readings in this scenario. For instance, AMD displays overall temperature rather than just the hotspot value. If this isn't correct, create a custom fan curve with hysteresis in the afterburner settings.
I think I might have solved the problem, because when I set the lowest fan speed to 30%, it didn’t increase. It’s strange. I ran tests on Furmark.
