Consider installing Arch instead of Manjaro. There are two options: modify repositories or simply install Arch. I’ve looked into other BSD distributions before, but hardware problems often arose. Most issues seem resolved now, though I still favor Linux for reliability.
GhostBSD is essentially a prebuilt version of FreeBSD with a ready-to-use desktop, much like MidnightBSD. I’d suggest beginning with genuine FreeBSD, since it’s simpler to set up a functional desktop there compared to trying to customize GhostBSD exactly as you desire. FreeBSD and its related projects often incorporate Linux drivers from time to time. Based on my experience, BSDs generally offer more dependable WiFi performance than Linux, which is a solid point.
It didn’t start up at all, and I followed the steps, but everything still feels off. It reminds me of the old days with PC-BSD around 20 years back.
