It was difficult to disassemble my laptop, yet it remained stuck after removing every screw. I felt hesitant to apply more pressure, worried it might damage the device.

The latency values are listed beneath the clock speed details (CL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS), meaning they correspond to 17-17-17-39. In certain instances only the top number appears, like 2400 MHz or CL 17. I believe the manufacturer and serial number should be found on the "SPD" section, which could help you check compatibility. If you know the notebook model, you might also locate suitable RAM through its user manual online.

Well, the plan for adding RAM was unclear. Laptops usually use plastic clips to secure the case, so you might just need to open it with a plastic pry bar. If you're unsure or lack the right tools, it’s probably best not to proceed. Are you confident about the upgrade?

There are two slots available in the task manager. For the upgrade, I’m thinking about getting it fixed at a repair shop, but I’d like to handle the RAM myself.

I trust the repair shop will manage everything. They’re more likely to have the right parts for compatible RAM. Just giving them a simple request doesn’t ensure success. I wouldn’t invest in additional RAM unless you can clearly see what you already have, and even then, paying for installation might not be worth it.
