I'm really frustrated right now. The usual methods aren't working and pressing the start button feels impossible. Can I get rid of it? Where does "My PC" go? How can I uninstall Bing? It's so confusing!

You strongly dislike Windows 8.1, but I have a different opinion... I'm unique.

It's really confusing for you. Upgrading from Win XP to 7 was simpler than moving from 7 to 8.1 at Noire. That's a big improvement!

I really got frustrated after updating Windows 8.1, which forced me to switch back to Windows 7.

Adjust your start menu to direct users to the home screen instead of the apps list. Review the installed applications and move the ones you frequently use to the start screen. Also pin "Your PC" there and ensure it’s displayed as a large tile for easy visibility. Personally, I find the updated start screen and apps layout significantly improved over the previous Windows versions. Spend a few minutes setting this up so you can use it effectively. For reference, here’s how my configuration looks.

Hey everyone, it feels better to be back in my own space. @helping I'm still trying to figure out closing the Win 8 "pages" without an X.

Here’s a revised version of your message:

I wanted to share how I set everything up, as this is my version. Even with such a low resolution (1024x768), I managed to perform tasks significantly quicker than the standard Start menu. You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIp7baJAV0k

I’m using RocketDock, which isn’t very helpful for me. It also makes wallpapers pretty dull and I have three monitors.
