Basic question, how do you access E-sports viewing? You want to watch and engage without diving into pro teams or complex details. Major leagues like Cloud 9 and NiP exist, but deeper info on names, seasons, and leagues can be confusing. Do you need a simple guide to starting?

It'll come automatically. If you watch a lot you'll easily remember the names of all the players. extra tip: I assume you're talking about CS:GO. There's like a 24/7 broadcast running Twitch from ESL_CSGO. They do reruns all day long and a live game every now and then.

Choose the game you wish to explore and visit its (eSports) official site. There you can watch numerous streams and gradually grasp the details. I managed to understand competitive CoD, Smash Melee and Smash 4 through this approach.

I see you're focusing on the gaming side, not just team details. A solid site to explore would be a comprehensive wiki covering pro CSGO and COD information. You're right about the betting aspect—there are new platforms emerging regularly, so checking updated resources is important.

It all comes down to what you're interested in watching. Most esport events are available on Twitch, so check the start times for the league you want to follow. I’m not sure about CSGO, but I understand Comp CoD typically begins around 5 PM CST during the season (which isn’t active right now).

For CoD I previously used this site: http://cod.esportspedia.com/wiki/CODpedia. It might be helpful for tournaments and rules, though I'm not sure about its quality.

Join the best streams where games are played. For Dota, try joining Joindota and BTS!

I learn everything about the games I follow from the biggest news platform for CSGO, HLTV.org. They provide updates on upcoming tournaments. Next step is to explore the groups, watch streams, and you'll build a solid foundation. Casters are now highly skilled today, offering background insights while delivering play-by-play commentary.

Join the team first, then practice on ESEA or Faceit, and finally aim for a tournament.

Check out CSGOVods on YouTube and stay updated on matches and tournaments on HLTV. It seems you're focusing on CSGO, likely the top teams like C9 and NIP in the scene.
