Getting help with overclocking if you're just starting out.
Hello everyone... I own an old 3930k, an ASUS X79 sabertooth motherboard, and 16GB of Samsung green RAM. I'm trying to boost its performance to reach a 1080 Ti clock speed and get a better monitor for gaming without running into bottlenecks. The issue is I just don't feel confident overclocking myself. I tried some settings once but my PC crashed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I shared a thread that clarifies overclocking—it's straightforward and takes only a minute or so to go through. I assure you, it was similar to what I experienced when experimenting with the BIOS. Don't worry, as long as you keep reading, you'll grasp what's happening and everything will be okay!

Thanks for the link, Timothy! I think I’ve always preferred learning by seeing things rather than just reading. It’s just helping me overcome that initial hesitation about trying new things.
I’m glad I could assist! Have fun! 😀
