Hi,
I upgraded my PC with a 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 SSD and installed a fresh Windows 10. However, I still experience a blue screen when playing games, while other activities like watching videos don’t trigger it. I’m unsure how to interpret my minidump file. Could anyone help explain why I get this issue during gameplay?
Thank you.
Minidump file.

We require additional details such as computer type (laptop, desktop tower), graphics card brand and model. Did you reinstall and download the drivers for your graphics card after the reset?

Desktop pc running Win 10
MSI RTX 2070 Super
Intel i7 7700K
16 gb ram
Asus Prime Z-270K motherboard
I use this machine for gaming for two years without encountering blue screens. This happened after installing a new M.2 SSD driver. I performed a clean Windows 10 installation. Updated my BIOS, enabled XMP, and used the latest graphics card version.

Test disabling the xmp and observe the outcome. I haven't installed any drivers for my ssd.

It's never wise to make a diagnosis based on one dump. You seem to be saying you've had many BSODs? If so, please upload all the relevant dumps.
The one you uploaded failed during a graphics operation. The Microsoft DirectX driver dxgmms2.sys is called often, as is the Nvidia graphics driver nvlddmkm.sys. The version of nvlddmkm.sys that you have installed may not be current, it's dated August 15th...
Code:
0: kd> lmDvmnvlddmkm

Information from resource tables:
The Nvidia driver download site has a more recent RTX2070 game ready driver, dated 21st September. I suggest you try that more recent driver.
It's also possible that in installing the M.2 SSD you may have disturbed something else. Check that the RAM and graphics card are properly seated.

Bro, I'm not sure which one resolved my problem, but I'm playing a 1-hour game right now and no bluescreen anymore.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the graphics card driver after that. I closed my PC, unplugged it, and then reconnected the RAM and graphics card. I also cleaned the plug area a bit.
For now, my issue is fixed. Thanks for your help.

It seems the RAM was possibly damaged earlier, but it's now functioning properly. When trying new games, it's wise to ensure your graphics card driver is current.
