Getting a Windows Pro update for my Lenovo laptop is hard to do right now.
Getting a Windows Pro update for my Lenovo laptop is hard to do right now.
I have a Lenovo Legion Y570 G50 that has an i7 processor running at 2.2 Ghz, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB hard drive. I only just switched the computer's operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11 Pro. The issue is that the installation process gets stuck right around the 61% mark. Also, it seems to take way too long for the upgrade to finish. Could anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it? Thanks so much!
You can use Windows Media Creation Tools to create a bootable USB installer for your computer, then try installing it from scratch. Just be careful to back up all important data on your laptop before you do this, and make sure your BIOS is updated too. Then, start the installation in offline mode.
I need to say sorry for giving some wrong information. The real model number is Lenono Y530-15ICH-type B1FV. I don't see clear BIOS update stuff on the product page, so it's confusing. Now, I am almost ready to wipe my hard drive using a partition manager program and then try installing Windows 11 in offline mode. If that doesn't work at all, maybe I'll have to try using Linux instead. PLEASE HELP!
I followed your advice, and it actually worked! Thank you so much!
